Andrea Geary

Andrea Geary is Cook's Illustrated's deputy food editor. She's a breakfast enthusiast, an avid urban cyclist, and a scale evangelist who fervently believes that weighing ingredients is the single fastest way to improve one's baking outcomes. A Boston-area native, she worked in professional kitchens in the United States and the Scottish Highlands for more than 15 years before joining the CI team in 2009. She's devoted to buttered toast (salted butter, please).
