A traditional Napoleon features layers of buttery, flaky-crisp puff pastry sandwiching cool, dreamy vanilla pastry cream—but we're happy to break tradition if it means adding chocolate to a dessert. And while we were breaking traditions, we decided to create an intriguing flavor profile by also incorporating lavender.
